Okay, not really. I'm a bit brain-dead tonight and wanted a catchy title using the word "proof." So I failed, but it must have gotten your attention if you're still with me. The manuscript, complete with an amazing cover design by Stephanie, has been sent off to have a proof copy printed so that we can see what it looks like in book form rather than on a computer screen. Editing overload
I spent most of the weekend reading and editing the second draft of the internal text and layout, then re-reading and re-editing it until my eyes were crossed. I came to the conclusion that editing is similar to raising a child: your try your best, but it's never perfect, and at some point you need to release it to the world. And you'll love it all the same.
