Smile...

I ardently dislike having my picture taken--looking back at decades of family photos, there are stretches of time where it's difficult to find me in any of them. So bless Stephanie for putting up with me as she attempted to take the perfect shot for the back of the book cover as well as this site. First there was the debate about wardrobe, then the setting, smile or no smile, etc. First inside, then outside where she climbed up and down a ladder looking for the just the right angle as the sun scorched us both. The experts say that the photo on a book should reflect the personality of the author; I can only hope that whichever one she chooses (she claims she has several good ones), the crabbiness inside didn't show.
